Cross dressing is a wide ranging and often practiced phenomenon that a multitude of men around the world practice (I’ll be concentrating on men who dress as women in this article). There are a wealth of reasons why a man would choose to dress as a woman, and each of them makes sense in some way. I hope to explore a few of those reasons in this article, as well as common clothing choices men make and the effects of crossdressing on a relationship.

As I mentioned in the paragraph above, many men dress in women’s clothing simply because they like the feeling of the clothes on their body. These men aren’t crossdressers in the typical sense since they’re really just pursuing the feel of certain clothing on their body. One of the most popular clothing items men choose to wear are pantyhose, mostly for their inherent softness but also because they encase the genitals in a way that some men find sexually stimulating. Another of the prominent choices men make when crossdressing is to wear women’s lingerie. Lingerie is the most taboo of all women’s clothing, and to go along with that it is the type of clothing that feels the best material wise. A satin nighty, or a satin bra and panty set can be very stimulating against the skin. When you combine that stimulation with the idea that you’re wearing a very naughty article of clothing it can add up to a highly sexual experience for a man.

It is unlikely that any heterosexual relationship will survive the introduction of crossdressing into the fold. Most women simply will not be able to handle the chaos this introduces into bedroom relations or everyday behaviors. However, some women are willing to let his cross dresser habbits go on in secret as long as it doesn’t impede on the general well being of their lives. The luckiest of men find women who are willing to participate in the process and even find it a turn on, but this is fairly rare, so don’t count on it.
